This week in Nursery we have been learning all about bees as part of our mini-beasts topic. We read the story ‘Bee my Friend’ and found out why bees are so busy. We found out that there are lots of different types of bees and not all of them make honey. We watched a very informative video which showed us how bees make honey. We also made some gorgeous honey biscuits. Yum!!!
We now understand that bees have a very important role and how they help the natural world grow and develop. We wanted to do our part to help bees to do their important jobs so we made some amazing bee hotels. We have hung our bee hotels in the Secret Garden so that bees can come and visit and lay their eggs. Have a look at all of the amazing activities we have completed this week.
