Today, we learned about Chinese New Year which takes place this Sunday. The children learned about how people celebrate Chinese New Year around the world. We talked about the traditions and customs such as dragon dancing. The children loved watching videos of dragon dancing. We decided to make our own Chinese dragon to dance with. 

We then enjoyed some Chinese food such as noodles, spring rolls and prawn crackers. The children tried really hard to eat their noodles with chop sticks. It was very tricky. 

What a lovely celebration!!!!
