After planting our magic beans at the beginning of the week, we were really excited to think about the what we would find at the top of our magic beanstalks when they are fully grown. The children imagined what they would like to find on their magic beanstalk. They suggested things such as marshmallows, chocolate bars, toy cars etc. The children were really interested to know if there would be a castle at the top of their beanstalk. We looked at lots of pictures of castles and even designed our own. The children had great ideas when designing their castles. We used a variety of resources such as wooden blocks, foam bricks, Duplo, sticklebricks and Lego. We had lots of fun working together to build fantastic castles.
