After we made our junk modelling robots, we decided to make our own robot costumes. It was so much fun trying on cardboard box vests and helmets. We made them come to life with gold, silver and bronze paint then added bits and bobs as buttons and antennas. The children could not wait to dress up in the costumes they had made. They looked fantastic. They even used very good robot voices. I a-m a -r-o-b-o-t.
