To end our topic of 'Toy and Bears' we decided to have a Teddy bears' Picnic. The children planned the picnic, making lists of all the things we would need. On the day of the picnic all of the children brought in their own special teddy bear from home. It was lovely to see so many cuddly bears. The children made their own sandwiches for the picnic. They chose either jam or chocolate spread as their filling. We then all sat together on our picnic rugs and enjoyed the sandwiches the children has made and some other snacks. We then played some fun games with our bears. We played Hide the Bear, Pass the Bear and Teddy Rides on the Parachute. We had such a lovely day at our Teddy Bears' Picnic. I think the bears enjoyed it too.
