As part of our ‘Let’s Celebrate’ topic we have been learning about weddings. We have been talking about what happens at weddings and what you might see. We talked about the reason people choose to get married is because they love each other very much and want to celebrate their love. We talked about how some people choose to get married in a church but others choose to get married in other places such as on a beach, at a hotel etc. The children enjoyed dressing up and re-enacting a wedding, giving the symbolic wedding rings as sign of promise.
