The children first made a prediction about which would be the heaviest moon rock, and many thought the biggest one would be the heaviest and the smallest would be the lightest, but they found out that this was not the case. They talked about what happened to the balance when the objects were placed there. They also compared the mass of objects using cubes to make the scale balance and found the heaviest and lightest objects.
