We learned about how Chinese New Year is celebrated and we listened to traditional stories and watched dragon and lion dance performances. We listened to some music and explored the sounds of musical instruments. Then we copied some musical patterns with our hands, feet and percussion instruments and composed music for a dragon parade. We performed our dragon parade in the hall.
