Chinese New Year Celebrations

We started to learn about Chinese New Year and watched some video clips of dragon and lion dances. Some of the children then used the skipping rope for a dragon dance outside so we made a class dragon and used musical instruments to perform a dragon dance. After practising we performed our dance in the hall. We also used our cutting skills to make a lantern and learned how to use a stapler to join paper together.
