After reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk the children decided to make their own beanstalks using the cubes and compared the height to see which was the tallest. Then they join their cubes together to create a beanstalk on the floor, it was so long that we had to use children to measure the length. It was 7 1/2 children long! We also made some numbered leaves.
