Hello parents/ carers, we know that some of you have expressed concerns about what your child will do in regards to school work if you and your family are in self isolation or if the school closes. Teachers are preparing for both situations. We thought it would be useful to share with you some websites that your child can access to continue their learning at home.
The following is a list of online resources that may be accessed for free.
- https://www.topmarks.co.uk (the homepage allows parents to filter by ages so please filter by age Early Years for online games)
- https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/Phase1Menu.htm (Phonics games- filter by Free Phonics Play- Parent- Interactive Resources- phase 2 or 3)
- https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/shows/numberblocks (Cbeebies- Numberblocks- great videos and games to play. Cbeebies is also good for other games, puzzles, songs etc) This one is a good one to explore.
- https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page/?view=image&query=&type=book&age_group=Age+3-4&level=&level_select=&book_type=&series=# (Oxford Owl provides lots of e-books to read online- this link will take you to books suitable for your child)
- We hope you find these useful. We will keep the website updated with any further information. Thank you
