During the cold weather the water bottle of one of our classmate froze solid. We talked about why this might have happened then went outside to see what the effects of the weather were outside. We found icicles and frozen water in pans in the mud kitchen which were difficult to move! We took part in an experiment to find out what would happen if we put gloves filled with water outside. We made predictions than waited to see what would happen over night. We found that the water had turned into ice because it was so cold. We made predictions of what might happen if we took the ice inside then waited to see what happened.
