Coronation Event at Eppleton Academy
To celebrate the momentous occasion of King Charles III Coronation, the whole school took part in a musical extravaganza shared with the whole community. There was singing, dancing and musical instruments, with every child taking to the stage. We had a special visitor from the local council who presented the school with a Cherry blossom tree for the grounds with a commemorative plaque. Then parents and friends joined us on the school field for a Royal Garden Party, with a community picnic. We hope that in the future, our children will be able to reflect on their part in the National celebrations and this piece of British history.
