As part of our geography curriculum year 1 have been learning about how the seasons and weather change.
We kept a weather diary and recorded the weather using symbols. We measured the wind direction using a weather vane and we used a compass to find out which direction north was in. We also measureed the rainfall with a rain gauge and found out what the temperture was each day using a thermometer. We discovered that the temperature fell as the week went on.
