Did you know that you can learn about an animal's diet by dissecting its poo? Year 1 have been learning about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We put our knowledge to the test this week when we were sent three samples of poo to investigate. After careful investigation we were able to determine which dinosaurs were carnivores as the poo contained bones. We learnt which dinosaurs were herbivores as the poo contained grass and leaves, and the omnivore poo contained both grass and bone!
