Our topic on Captain Cook and Australia got off to a great start with a visit to  Captain Cook Birthplace Museum in Middlesbrough. The children stepped back in time and looked round a model of the famous explorer's childhood home. They also examined artefacts from  The Endeavour, created Australian artwork, wrote with a real feather quill pen and dressed up for a photograph.
