In Computing this week, we have been focussing on Computer Science and programming Beebots. First we worked in groups to design a world for Beebot to travel in. Next we had a memory jogger all about using Beebot and the different ways of controlling it. Then we investigated which routes were the longest, quickest, shortest and which routes could go past the most attractions in Beebot’s world. We made a few mistakes but realised that we can debug Beebot and clear the memory and start again. Our final challenge was to see how many pebbles we could make Beebot collect on his journey.
