As you can see from the photos, the final blog of the summer term for Year Two shows that everyone had a really lovely final day in Year Two. The children spent their dojos on wearing their summer clothes, a picnic, sports activities and a special 'show and tell' from home. They also had a special treat with a surprise visit from Mrs Cowan's pet duck Beaky. The children were a little nervous at first but they got to hold and feed Beaky who made herself at home in the outdoor classroom. She was so happy at Eppleton that she even laid an egg! The boys and girls also got to enjoy a picnic and played games on our field before cooling down with an ice lolly. They ended the day sitting with the duck again, while Mrs Cowan read her favourite childhood story...Beaky the Greedy Duck.
