Year Two applied the work they did recently on tally charts with their learning this week on 2D and 3D shapes when they went on the hunt around school grounds.
They found squares, rectangles, circles, triangles and hexagons. as well as lots of cuboids, cubes and cylinders. Some of the children recorded the information in tally charts while others drew the shapes. It was a lot of fun to get outside for a maths lesson.
