Year Two learned about Mary Seacole and how she could inspire others during breakout. They found out how hard it was for Mary to follow her dream and go to be a nurse in the Crimean War. She never gave up and as a result, there were lots of changes to nursing during care. As part of the lesson, the children looked at images of nursing from the past and present and sorted them out.
