As part of our science topic on Materials and their Uses, Year Two investigated which materials were the most and least changeable. They explored towels, socks, straws, pipe-cleaners, play-doh, elastic bands and even a drinks can, to see if they could be bent, twisted, squashed and stretched. They realised that socks would be no use if they didn't stretch. And towels need to bend otherwise they wouldn't be very cosy when we get dry. Year Two have loved this topic.
