We got to meet a real author this week. Chantalle Edmunds came to visit Eppleton Academy and spent some of her time with Year Two. She read her book: Just the Job for George – all about St George as a boy and then gave the children time to suggest what jobs St George might have done – had he not slayed the dragon and become a saint. They loved sharing their ideas with the rest of the class and of course meeting and talking to someone who writes books as their job!
