Year Two used the maps they made with pastels and colour in their last art lesson to produce their own pieces of felt! It was a tricky process which involved lots of team work, listening skills and creativity. They had to choose a tiny piece of the map and then roll, twist, shape and flatten coloured pieces of wool top on to the plain background. Bubble-wrap, net curtains, hot water and soap flakes and tea towels were ALL needed in the tricky process. They were very proud and we think you’ll agree that the finished pieces do look just like the tiny pieces of map that they began with.
