We learned about length and height in maths this week by comparing our height to the height of our friends. We used blocks and paper clips to measure the length of items in the classroom but we realised that using centimetres was more sensible as all centimetres are the same. We put objects - including ourselves in height and length order and talked about who was the tallest and shortest.
