In Year Two, the children wrote their names in Braille and learned some sign language as part of their learning about disabilities. They talked about lots of different disabilities - physical and mental - and learned that there are lots of things that can be done to help people with disabilities so they can still be successful. The chlldren came to the conclusion that people with disabilities are the same as the rest of us.
