As part of our SMSC curriculum, Year Two learned about debate and listening to other people's opinions. This week we asked the question: Should we wear a uniform? The children in our class had lots of different views about the subject and had to choose which side of the room they wanted to stand depending on their view. Some people couldn't decide. We then went to different classes and asked other people's opinions and we collected the data on tally charts. Some children designed their dream school uniform too. The important message was that everyone has their own view and we should listen to each other.
