Year Two have been lucky enough to take part in a singing workshop to help them prepare for Sunderland Big Sing. The children spent the afternoon with a singing coach, who taught a selection of songs that have all been written or performed by people from Sunderland. As well as singing an Emeli Sande song, Jack he was a Sunderland Lad and The Rigs of Sunderland Fair, the children also learned actions, practised warming up their voices and breathing exercises. Now they are really looking forward to the Big Sing which will take place across Sunderland at the end of June.
