What better way to learn about creating a fair test and find out what plants need to stay healthy than to get digging and planting outside in our school garden? Year Two worked in groups and planted broad beans as part of their science topic. They worked out that they needed to plant more than one seed of the same kind, but give them each, slightly different conditions. Over the next few weeks, they will observe the plants to see how they grow and which are the healthiest. They really enjoyed being outdoors and becoming gardeners!
