In our science topic, we have been learning about how animals, including humans, change as they grow. We discussed the things that humans learn to do at different stages f development. The children decided to find out which children in our school had the biggest hand and head spans and who was the tallest. The children predicted that as children get older, they will also get bigger. They tested their predictions by using tape measures and visiting children in classes from Year One to Year Six and measuring them, After the investigation, they children concluded that in most cases, their predictions were true. However, at Eppleton, we have some very tall Year Threes and some quite small Year Fives1
