Just at Year Two were making predictions about their new book for English, Mrs Jackson paid us a visit with a mystery package. Inside was an envelope for every pupil. After lots of discussion about what it could be and who might have sent them, the children were very excited to find out that they'd actually been sent a ticket to ride the Polar Express. They quickly got coats and hats on and settled down to listen to the story being ready by Liam Neeson. The story is actually going to help the children write their own diary entries in English next week, We had lots of smiles in Year Two today.
