Year 3 have been working on developing their skills in developing shade and tints through paint. They found out that we add shade by mixing a base colour with small amounts of black and tinting effects are created by adding white. They also developed further skill in colour by creating shadow puppets in response to a story and sketching cartoons in the style of Carl Giles.
