Year 3 used their computing skills gained from their work on Publisher to develop powerpoint presentations with the theme "All about Year 3". They learned to open a new presentation document and spent time looking at the programmes making discussing similarities and differences between powerpoint and publisher. They recognised the overall appearance of the programmes were very similar in appearance, but each had functions specific to them such as animations in powerpoint. They learned to create backgrounds, add slides and animations to slides on the work they produced. They also recognised the need to plan what they wanted to include on their slides so that they flow well during presentations.
