As an introduction to Year 3's new science topic they went on a hunt of the school grounds to find out where rocks could be found. They found they were everywhere. Some got to where they were on their own (naturally) and others were man-made and put their by humans. They then thought about the 3 different types of natural rock-igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic and how they are formed. They found it all very fascinating!
