Year 3 discussed how we become ill, particularly in the winter months and thought about the spread of bacteria, bugs, germs and infections. We used flour on our hands to show how quick these things can all spread and make us become unwell. We couldn't how far and fast the flour spread around the classroom. We then thought about how we can avoid this, by covering our mouths when we cough or sneeze, make sure we wash our hands thoroughly throughout the day with soap and water, and putting our used tissues in the bin. Hopefully with this advice, we can prevent our friends catching our coughs, sneezes and diseases!
