This week we investigated magnets.  We found out that they can come in all shapes and sizes, have different strengths and work by attracting (pulls) or repelling (push) objects.  They also have a north and south pole, although they definitely don't have any snow on them or penguins!  We investigated what happens when different items are put close to magnets and also tried moving the items through card, paper and attracting them on strings.  We had great fun and found out lots of information!
