Year 3 met with Kate and Petros who work in Parliament. 

We found out lots of information about how parliament is made up of 2 houses, House of Commons and House of Lords, then how they work together to debate and create new laws.  We thought about the qualities needed to be an MP such as honesty, caring and helpful, then what qualities would be needed to become a Peer such as experts in health, care, education. We thought some of the people they know would make fantastic peers! We found it very interesting and asked lots of questions about when we are able to vote, where we can vote and how many people we can vote for.
