Running club had the opportunity to take part in the Big 3K in Sunderland City Centre on Sunday 7th May.

Harvey and Mrs Smiles (and her husband and son) were the people representing Eppleton Academy Primary School in the run.

Although they set off together, Harvey finished a good 4 minutes in front of Mrs Smiles!

Well done to Harvey for completing the run in 69th place out of about 373 people. 

Mrs Smiles is still recovering with a lot of aches and pains. However, who is up for the challenge next year?
