This week, Year 4 have been experimenting with different painting techniques to show different textures, tones and shades in their art. We have practiced techniques such as dabbing, pointillism, and washing to be able to use in our final art pieces. Everyone had different thoughts on which were the best techniques and which they preferred. 

After this, Year 4 created a pencil drawn composition piece, which they would be able to paint over the next lesson. These all turned out fantastic! year 4 should be so proud of the different techniques and styles of painting that they used to create a final piece.
