This week, year 4 have been so lucky to have had a visiting artist to work with us. We have been hard at work creating Halloween lanterns ready to take part in a parade in Sunderland with a group of other schools - the first ever! Our spooky lanterns have been made with care using lots of different materials to create a creepy, monstrous effect... they even light up. We used ribbons and fabric, tissue paper, pens, glue and more before adding scary eyes to them, too. Year 4 impressed everyone in school with their artistic talent and how responsibly they behaved when working with our visiting artist, well done everyone.
We are all so amazed with our lanterns and we love how spooky they look! We hope that everyone else that gets to see them from all over the region thinks that they are super creepy and Halloween-y as well!
