Year 4 have loved Storytelling Week. 

Everyone has been so enthusiastic about the books they’re reading in school and at home. Mrs Smiles brought in some books from her home for the children to read and a lot of children brought in a range of books from their homes too. We’ve read the blurbs and the first pages of some of these books. As a class, we’ve read some books aloud such as ‘Cat in the hat’ by Dr Seuss and ‘Paper dolls’ by Julia Donaldson and Rebecca Cobb. After our assembly on Monday, we were very excited to open four new books. We used the clues to guess what they could be. One of us even guessed correctly!
