Year 4 loved World Book Day last week.  There were some imaginative and creative costumes.  Throughout the day, we completed many activities linked to books: made book marks, read about Michael Morpurgo (our class author), made a board game based on a book, completed some mindful colouring, quizzed about books and had to guess whose favourite book was whose.

The most exciting part of the day was definitely trying out our brand new library/chill out area.  The transformation has been brilliant and we're excited to use it.

Also, at the end of the day, we paraded out costumes in assembly and got a book token and a free book!
