Year 4 have started their coding topic in computing. 

 

We started with a game called Smoking car. After this, we used the codes to make our own car move.  Following this, we made sure we could turn our car, but had to choose an appropriate key to press for this - we couldn't repeat any.  Then, we started to make the smoke form our smoking car, using the pen feature.  We used pen up, pen down, erase all and changed the pen colour.  Finally, we made the background of our games.  Throughout this week, we've used vocabulary such as input, output, sprite, coding, bug and debug.
