It has been a great start to the year! From Pupil Parliament to enjoying the last of the sun with our sun dials, we have been very busy!

Some children chose to take part in Pupil Parliament. They confidently stood in front of the class and explained why they should be part of Eppleton's Pupil Parliament. We also had children expressing their interest to be a Well-being ambassador and a Reading ambassador. It has been great to see how confident and committed the children are.

In science, we have been learning all about space. We made our own models of the earth, moon and sun to understand and compare their sizes. We have also been thinking about day and night, busting misconceptions and thinking about how people could tell the time before clocks and technology. We made our own sundials and tested them outside whilst the sun was shining.

So far in breakout we have been busy celebrating and learning about different cultures as well as helping out the environments we live in. We made our own Ramadan decorative fan and payed nursery a visit to help out their environment.
