Fairground Rides
In D&T we created working Fairground Rides. We investigated mechanisms; gears and pulleys. We then designed rides in groups which used at least one of the mechanisms. We used our design, the design specification and our knowledge of the different mechanisms. We used lots of skills to do this: cutting, joining, measuring and team work! We had to adapt our design to overcome problems while we constructed it. Here are some photos of us in action and our final design.
