Durham Wildlife Trust came to help us make our environment and our own gardens more wildlife friendly. We named all of wildlife we had seen on the school grounds. We then thought about ways to encourage more wildlife to our school grounds: flowers,
Wild flower seed bombs: like a muddy meat ball, throw the seed balls on muddy areas. We used a handful of clay, two handfuls of compost, a wildflower seed mix (British flowers- natural to our environment)
Bug Hotel: needs fixing and improving. Pine cones, bamboo, leaves and twigs. Bamboo is good so that the bugs can hide/snuggle inside it.
