This week, we have made a good start on some of our new topics within the foundation subjects: History (learning about the Mayans) and Music (recapping on the elements of music and graphic scores). We have also started to learn about Earth and Space in Science (describing the Earth, Moon & Sun as spherical bodies & testing the round vs. flat Earth theories) & we focused on the theme of 'tolerance' today in our first SMSC session, where we talked about the importance of celebrating others' cultures and beliefs (through food tasting, exploring other types of music and languages etc.)
