Year 5 had a fantastic day at Northumberland Zoo. We were super lucky with the weather and got to wander around the zoo enclosures in the sunshine.
We got to get up close to some rainforest creatures and even got to touch a giant land snail. We also watched a bird show and the owls flew around over our heads - they were beautiful!
We had a talk by one of the zookeepers about Scottish Wildcats and he even fed them in front of us.
We really enjoyed looking at all of the unusual animals and watching what they were doing.
