Today, we have been continuing our materials topic in science and exploring solubles by attempting to dissolve different solids in water.

We identified our controlled variables and considered which variables might affect how well a solid dissolves.  We have thought about the number of stirs, the temperature of the water, the size of the solid, and the type of solid.  

We have made some vile looking concoctions by attempting to make solutions of oregano. sugar, chalk and rice!
