Within our current Science topic - Evolution and Inheritance - we have been learning about how characteristics can be inherited (such as eye colour) or acquired (such as singing abilities). We then studied variation and how we are not identical to our parents. To further study this, we investigated how similar or different we were in our class.
We had to measure our height, hand span, foot length, head span & forearm length, as well as looking at eye colour and whether or not we could roll our tongue. We presented this data in a table that we then analysed for the most common measurements, which we will put into a line graph in our next lesson.
