Linking to their recent learning in Science, within the topic of Evolution and Inheritance, children had to select a habitat and at least one plant and animal from this environment to form the content of an informative video for Y6 children. They had to import relevant images, create title slides and add subtitles. Next, children had to create transitions between the slides of their video, deciding on the duration of slides. Their next task was to write a short script to record, narrating their video on adaptation. Some children chose to put other audio sounds over their video – from music to other sound effects. Year 6 produced some excellent videos for this, incorporating all the skills they had learnt!
